Schaulager is first and foremost a response to the old and new needs for the storage of works of the visual arts. It dispenses with box storage and transforms the foyers of the exhibition halls into autonomous facilities, independent of any museum, with specific qualities and functions. Schaulager was conceived as an open warehouse that provides the optimal spatial and climatic conditions for the preservation of works of art. At Schaulager, each individual work, object and installation is permanently on view.

- 10.30 - 17.00: The students can choose between visiting the spaces (seminars) or watching movies (Matthew Barney). The seminars and the movie screening starts at 10.30, 13.30, 15.30. The spaces will be visited by groupes of twenty students. The seminars will be held in different languages. Students has to register for the seminars on monday 15th.
