A Story Too Big For Me

Each of us is expected to come up with an idea for a narrative that he/she would want to put in words if he/she only knew how. We will discuss our particular obstacles and develop a specific agenda to eventually overcome them. In the process, we will explore such diverse techniques as assemblage, collective writing, challenge, data mining, diagramming, discipline, drill, encounter therapy, exercise, falling in love, falling out of love, getting rich, getting poor, hypnosis, investigation, isolation, mentoring, quota, recording, research, routine, rhyming, singing and travel, and begin to practice them as far as the workshop framework allows. To start with, all participants should be able to retell their favorite story, movie or legend about writer's block.
