La Ligne - Une masterclass d’Albert Muda
Accueillie pour l’occasion au sein de bermuda, ateliers de fabrication, de recherche et de diffusion en arts, cette master class propose aux étudiant·e·s de mener et de mettre en acte une aventure collective qui cherchera à s’arracher du camp de base et de création que représente bermuda (1127 avenue du Jura 01630 Sergy).
La ligne de Collonges-Fort-l’Écluse à Divonnes-les-Bains est une voie ferrée française d’une longueur de 38 kilomètres. Elle constitue la ligne 891000 du réseau ferré français.
Cette voie ferrée, aujourd’hui désaffectée, longe le terrain de bermuda. Les ronces, les clématites, les arbustes envahissent peu à peu la voie. Nous proposons aux étudiant·e·s du pool, la construction d’un chariot mobile qui permettra de nous déplacer, ou de déplacer un objet, ou une caméra (travelling)…
Le chariot pourra être tiré. Il sera le support et l’enjeu principal d’une forme de voyage qui se déroulera le troisième jour du pool. Nous partirons vers Divonnes, plein est, et enregistrerons, filmerons ce voyage à partir de cette plateforme mobile. En amont, la construction de la plate-forme, des accessoires, éventuellement des costumes, sera le prétexte au tissage du collectif qui s’attèlera à larguer ensemble les amarres. Nous proposons ainsi un scénario : la conception et la construction d’une forme de draisine (métal, bois, éléments mécaniques récupérés...), dont les modalités collectives de déplacement pourront constituer la matière de la création d’un film, ou d’un enregistrement sonore. Nous nous apparenterons à une
forme de procession, étrange, lente et attentive.
BERMUDA
Naissant de la nécessité de pérenniser des espaces de création dans la région lémanique, bermuda développe un projet singulier, qui articule recherche, fabrication et diffusion en arts. Son projet artistique est fondé sur des temps de résidence, des compagnonnages et des workshops. Les repas seront pris sur place. Merci d’amener de quoi manger à midi (repas canadien). Les ateliers bermuda sont accessibles en voiture, parking gratuit sur place. Pour venir en transport en commun : tram 18 direction CERN, jusqu’au terminus, puis bus 68 direction Thoiry Centre commercial, arrêt Sergy Gare. Informations horaires sur la page des tpg.

The Line - An Albert Muda masterclass
Hosted by bermuda, a venue for research, production and diffusion of art, this master class invites students to lead and act out a collective adventure that will seek to break away from its base and creation camp that is bermuda (1127 avenue du Jura 01630 Sergy).
The line from Collonges-Fort-l’Écluse to Divonnes-les-Bains is a 38-kilometer French railway line. It forms the line number 891000 of the French rail network. This railway line, now disused, runs alongside bermuda workshops. Brambles, clematis and shrubs are gradually taking over the track. We invite the students to build a mobile trolley that will enable us to move around, or to move an object, or a camera (dolly)... The trolley can be pulled. It will be the support and the main challenge in the journey that will take place on the third day of the master class. We’ll set off towards Divonnes, heading east, and will record and film this journey from the mobile platform. Upstream, the construction of the platform, the accessories and possibly the costumes will be the pretext for weaving together a collective in which we will set out..
We are proposing a scenario: to design and build a form of draisine (with metal, wood, salvaged mechanical elements, etc.), whose collective modes of movement would provide the material for the creation of a film or a sound recording. It will be a strange, slow, attentive procession.
BERMUDA
Born out of the need to create sustainable spaces for creation in the Lake Geneva region, bermuda is developing a unique project that combines research, production and distribution in the arts. Its artistic project is based on residencies, apprenticeships and workshops. Meals will be taken on site. Please bring something to eat for lunch. The bermuda workshops are accessible by car, with free parking on site. To get there by public transport:

Unfortunately, this workshop is not accessible to wheelchair users.
